“I can tell you first hand that Jen Colla recipes are some of the best we have ever tried. We had the great fortune of being invited to Jen’s home for a pre-race meal before running a marathon. The menu was a mixed green salad with Asian pear, angel hair with squash, spinach, beans and cheese. The sauce was thick and meat-like!! Last: we were served garlic parmesan whole grain toast!! To be honest, I have never been served a meal this yummy at any restaurant and this was hands down the best pre-race meal of my life!!! As we left to go home, we told Jen that we would be back for more meals and that all of her recipes are simple to make yet are absolutely the finest foods! Thanks, Jen, for helping us all run a great race with your wonderful meal.”

“Jen’s unique gift for making healthy foods taste amazing allows me to actually enjoy the strict contest diet I normally dread. Her nutritional expertise has shown me that eating clean does not mean sacrificing great taste. And the best part is, The Sassy Spoon is not a diet book; it’s a blueprint for a healthy lifestyle.”
